Opening on April 1

The Botanical Garden Třeboň will reopen to visitors from April 1 after the winter break. Although most aquatic plants are still dormant, the garden is already coming to life with the first spring vegetation. The warm weather in the first half of March accelerated the emergence of many species, especially bulb plants originating from floodplain forests.

In full bloom you can currently see scillas (Scilla bifolia subsp. rara and S. vindobonensis), spring snowflakes (Leucojum vernum), and the first flowers of white butterbur (Petasites albus) and primroses (Primula elatior and P. veris). The last snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis), crocuses (Crocus vernus) and spring pasqueflower (Pulsatilla vernalis) are now finishing their flowering.

In April, off‑season admission applies:
• 50 CZK per adult
• 25 CZK reduced admission

We look forward to your visit and to starting a new season together!
