Nature in South Africa

Welcome to our Nature in South Africa web photo gallery!

You find here hundreds slides of plants, animals and landscapes, which we took usually in National parks and Nature reserves in South Africa, Lesotho and some also in Namibia. Because we stayed in Pietermaritzburg, most of the places are in KwaZulu Natal, but we have also made two trips to Cape Town, the first along the Eastern Cape's Wild Coast and Garden Route, the second one via Kalahari and Namaqualand.

Most of galleries consist mainly of the high-quality plant photographs, many of them has not been published in the web before. They can be used as a comparative material, however, some specimens couldn't be determined or may be determined wrong.
