Two databases have been developed by Jitka Klimešová and myself.

CLOPLA1 (CLOnal PLAnts, version 1) is a database of clonal growth in plants of central Europe. It includes 2686 species. For details click here.

CLOPLA2 (CLOnal PLAnts, version 2) is a an extended version of the CLOPLA1 database. Besides the modes of clonal growth 25 variables are tabulated for individual species, either directly or indirectly related to clonal growth. The work on the database is in progress.

CLOPLA3 (CLOnal PLAnts, version 3) a new version of the CLOPLA database, replacing the previous versions of the database. It includes 186,157 records of 2,923 species, is fully referenced and freely accessible on the web (http://clopla.butbn.cas.cz/). Data sources include biological floras, published papers and unpublished "grey" literature sources. Besides, we obtained 49,524 records in the course of our field studies. Altogether, 1241 original B&W drawings are linked to the database. The database covers flora of vascular plants of the Czech Republic and Central Europe.
